Need better lighting!! what's the gap for these plugs 0.54?? and you forgot to mention..the boots get stuck sometime and you have to take your time pulling it out ,have to be careful not to rip it.I have to give you credit you are the only mechanic took the time to do the passenger side . i had a 1998 5.4 expediton..and that back plug passenger side was bitch to get too! so this engine seems to give better access other than moving heater hose.

Did you have to install new caster/cambers after this 2'' lift? I have an '87 Ranger and plan to do the same thing but I read alot of issues with the cambers and casters and them needing to be swapped.

I did a similar job (not Skyjacker) on my 89 with dual front shocks; the forward shocks contacted the bottom of the coil spring under any load. I would take a close look at dimensional specs before buying. I ended up shelving both forward shocks as i couldnt return them afterwards due to chafe damage from the coils

Don't waste your money. It woks fine, but the clamp plastic broke at the hinge point on the tenth battery tested.

Ah yes the upper ball joint spinning. Since the ends of the threads get rusty, you need to melt the plastic from the jam nut and then the nut will come right off. Ford sells the nuts in bags of 4 for this reason so you can replace the tie rod ones while your at it... Same for stabilizer link. Melt away all plastic from lock nuts and replace. I did these same struts on my 11 119" and front sits a little higher.

Another extremely important thing you left out is once it comes time to torque the bolts to spec you need to load the suspension. I use a low profile jack to load it then I use a torque wrench to torque to spec when working in my garage. An alignment should be done around 2 weeks or around 500 miles after install. Hope this helps.

This is a ripoff website. never order here. Bought the Vicrez demon style wide body kit for my dodge challenger. it was a complete joke, the bumper was plastic and did not hold firm to shape, did not fit in the car, and even the subcomponents that came with the bumper did not attach to it. Carid will not give you a refund at all. they will stall, lie, and give you the run-around. also 3 parts of my order were taking too long to ship, so i told them to cancel the order. remember this is before the items shipped. they told me i could not cancel the order even though they hadn’t even been shipped. they ended up shipping the products a month later. basically once they have your money it’s gone. only way to get a refund is through your bank disputing the charge. it has been hell dealing with carid and i will never shop with them ever again. avoid this website at all costs. buy your car parts in person at a shop or through a certified dealer.
